Freebies at Wal Mart

As most of you know, I have been using coupons for quite some time now.  Over the past several months I have really been slacking, so I thought it was time that I tried to get back into saving my family even more money!  One particular coupon caught my eye... $1.00 off of ANY El Monterey product!  My youngest, Jonathan, absolutely loves El Monterey burritos.  I ordered from my favorite clipped coupon site, WIZ CLIPZ and received a pack of 10 coupons for only $1.50 shipped! (You can also find them HERE on Facebook!)

When I headed out to buy groceries at Wal Mart, I honestly could not remember how much the burritos cost that my little one loves so much.  To my surprise, they are only .48!!  Now, my particular WM does not allow overages, so I was able to get 2 completely FREE burritos for every coupon that I had!  They also carry "specialty" burritos that cost $1.00 each, so you can also get one FREE for every coupon. 

Now that's the kind of deals I like to get!!  FREE FOOD! :)  Unfortunately, it seems as though all of the $1 off coupons have been snatched up from WIZ CLIPZ, but they still have a .50/2 coupon still making them only .23 each or possibly FREE at a store that doubles coupons!

Three FREE products at Walgreen's this week!

Those of you that know me, know that I do not ever consider something a savings or a money maker until the point that it benefits me and my out of pocket.  So, with that being said, IF you are in need of other items to use this on, I consider it a money maker.

This week at Walgreen's, Blink Tears Eyecare (.33 or .5 oz) is $8 with a $8 register reward.  If you are not familiar with register rewards, they are manufacturer coupons for a $ amount off of your total basket and can be used at other stores besides just Walgreen's.  There is also a manufacturer coupon available for printing for $1/1, so you would actually pay $7 and get back $8.  There was also a coupon in the 1/15/12 SmartSource insert.  Generally, I would purchase this product and get the RR and turn around and use it for items that I may not have coupons for, such as milk, bread, or eggs.  Then, I would consider this a FREE item at Walgreen's! :)

 The next FREE product is St. Joseph Aspirin.  They are $2 with a $2 register reward.  No coupons that I know of, but same thing.  Use the register reward for items you need!

And, lastly, is Pur-Absorb Iron Supplement.  They are $10 with a $10 register reward!  Use the $10 on items you need and you have yourself another FREE product.

I love Chili's!!! :)

We never eat at Chili's!  Why?  I don't know!  But, we got a gift card for Christmas, so we decided to go!  The other day I went to Chili's website to check it out before we went.  I discovered a PRINTABLE COUPON there for a FREE CHIPS AND QUESO!  Thought that was awesome!  So, we went.  We got the FREE chips and queso (a $5.49 value), the awesome NEW Onion Strings and Jalepeno Slices (Yummy!!), hubby got the Shrimp Tacos and I got the BEST STEAK I HAVE EVER HAD!  Our total OOP was $2.48 + tip!  You can't beat that!  Then, when I checked my email I had received 3 different emails from Chili's!  One for another FREE CHIPS AND QUESO, one for a belated birthday gift of a FREE BROWNIE SUNDAE, and another for a KIDS EAT FREE COUPON!  I think we will go to Chili's a lot more often now!! :)  The food was amazing and we had an overall great dining experience!
