From Drab to FAB!

I have this old picture that was stuck in a frame that is too big for it.  Since we moved into our new house, I knew I wanted this picture to stand above our fireplace.  It is the perfect centerpiece for the room.  I looked everywhere for either a new frame to fit the picture OR a mat to put in the current frame.  No luck finding anything that I could afford.  So, I decided to create my own mat and paint the frame.  I could still use a new piece of glass/plastic for the frame, but here is how it turned out:

Soon I will probably be posting with a new piece of glass or plastic and maybe a different color for the frame! lol
